    Questions, answered.

Fit Do I need to size up to wear a hoodie?

Don't size up automatically. Beta and Beta AR have a Regular fit; Beta SL fits closer to the body. Start with Find my size beside the sizes, then check the fit guide with your usual hoodie or fleece in mind.

Rain Will it handle heavy rain, or just a drizzle?

The GORE-TEX membrane is designed to block rain and wind. The outer water-repellent finish helps droplets bead, while the membrane beneath provides waterproof protection. Adjust the hood, cuffs and hem for coverage when the weather turns.

Warmth Is it warm enough for winter?

For winter, pair it with an insulating layer. The shell blocks rain and wind but has no built-in insulation. Add a fleece or insulated jacket underneath; switch to a light base layer for milder days.

Breathability Will I overheat when I'm on the move?

GORE-TEX lets moisture vapour escape, but comfort still depends on your layers, effort and the weather. Start with a light base layer and adjust ventilation as you move. Beta AR and Beta SL also have underarm zips to release heat.

Your choice Beta, Beta SL or Beta AR — which do I need?

Beta AR prioritises durability for demanding use. Beta SL prioritises low weight and packability. Beta is the versatile option for everyday wear and hiking. All three offer waterproof protection; choose around the way you'll actually use your jacket.

Care Will washing ruin the waterproofing?

Correct washing is part of caring for GORE-TEX. Follow the jacket's label, avoid bleach and fabric softener, rinse thoroughly and dry as directed. If water stops beading on the outside, the water-repellent finish may need cleaning or renewal.

Returns What if I order the wrong size?

You have 30 days after delivery to return it. Check the fit indoors and keep the jacket unworn, with its tags and original packaging. For a different size, contact UNPAVED; exchanges are subject to availability.

Delivery Can I get it in time for my trip?

Orders confirmed before 14:00 are dispatched the same day. Delivery time depends on your destination and shipping service. Tracking is emailed after dispatch. If you have a fixed travel date, contact UNPAVED before ordering.
